Bicycle Hotel, Amsterdam

On Wednesday, 4^th June, we made our way from home to the Brisbane airport, dropped the car off at our usual car park and off we went on our European adventure. After an 8 hour flight with Qantas, we stopped in Singapore for 2 hours, then caught the KLM Dutch airlines to Amsterdam. After 14 hours of watching movies, reading books and eating lots of food, we arrived in Amsterdam, and made our way to the Bicycle Hotel, where we stayed for 3 nights.

I had done a lot of preparation and organisation finding maps over the internet and knew exactly how to get to the hotel I’d booked. We caught the train from Amsterdam Centraal, then a tram to and walked a little way to the Bicycle Hotel. We recognized the hotel because there was a bicycle half way up the wall on van Ostadestraat. This was a lovely little hotel, with free internet access in the room for 24 hours. The room was very tiny, but it was comfortable and clean.
